‘Bilby’, is a dynamic, educational platform made to consolidate the environmental understanding of young Australians aged 9-15 years old, using engaging, interactive content. Through Bilby, users will be presented with clear, easy-to-digest videos, games and quizzes centred around Australia’s biodiversity and ecosystems, spreading awareness, and encouraging young Australians to become future agents of change. For this year long major design project, I made a short explainer video ‘So… What is an ecosystem anyway?’ that describes what exactly an ecosystem is, in a simplistic way using colourful graphics, characters and illustrations. Accompanying this video is an interactive website that allows users to further widen their knowledge.
